The New Album Breathing In Colour is set to be filled with Soul, Style, and Star Power….

In 2026, a window opens, not to the future - but to a feeling you thought you had forgotton. When basslines were bold, romance had rhythm and when every note meant something. From the mind of Producer Benjamin Race, comes an album that paints soul in technicolour. Introducing a brand new album, Breathing in Colour. It isn’t just an album title — it’s a statement of intent. The record represents Race’s vision of soul music as something vibrant, emotional, and full of life, as if you were living in 1989 again. Each track is painted with its own palette.

Adding to its uniqueness, Breathing in Colour is a concept album, designed to feel like a cinematic soundtrack. The listener is guided through a fictional U.S. Radio station — RTBC Radio — with each track unfolding like a broadcast from another moment in time. The record weaves together soul’s many shades, from the punch of New Jack Swing to the spiritual lift of gospel, the smooth textures of neo-soul, and the shimmering glow of ’80s soul. The result is immersive — as if the listener has stepped into the late 1980s and early 1990s, reliving a golden era of music through Race’s fresh and contemporary lens.

Following the chart success of his recent single ‘Everything That You Do’ featuring X Factor star Andy Abraham, which stormed the UK Soul Music Radio Charts and gained national exposure on ITV and Sky TV, UK producer Benjamin Race is set to release his highly anticipated new album, Breathing in Colour
